The Creator

Hello! My name is Jodie Cheung. I teach elementary school general music and am an independently contracted piano technician at the University of Florida. I hold a master’s degree in piano technology and a bachelor’s degree in general music education from Florida State University. I primarily play the trombone, which I started playing in high school. My goal with music is to inspire children to do whatever they want regardless of gender, race, ability, SES, etc. As a female trombonist, I know how hard it can be when it seems like the whole world is telling you that you cannot succeed. I hope that every student of mine feels included and empowered to achieve their goals, whatever it may be.
